Posted: 17 Nov 2015 09:28 PM PST Apply. Don't lie about experience, they will catch onto that about 4 seconds after they ask you to "put that down-stage left". Apply any way. Are there any community theater groups in your area? They are always looking for volunteer help. Working for them (for free) will get you experience.

Question: What should I put on my acting resume for this film role? Posted: 17 Nov 2015 05:28 PM PST It sounds like it should be listed as "featured". I'm assuming you were not in the background but had noticeable face time on camera and there was substantial time where you are in focus on camera. Do NOT include background or extra on a professional resume. And for professional resumes you list the type of role not the character for TV and Film work. But features work is not impressive at all. Include it only if you have nothing else and get it off your resume as soon as you hav better credits to list. Remember that your resume is a marketing tool, not a life story. You include the best of what you've done not everything you've done.
Question: Who should I put for director/producer on my acting resume? Posted: 17 Nov 2015 05:10 PM PST Either the lead production company or the name of the executive producer, whichever carries more "clout" in your opinion. For example, the show "Frasier" had (I believe") close to 20 "producers"..You could put "Grubb Street Productions" rather than choosing between Angell, Casey and Lee.
