How to dance (school dance)?

So there's this Halloween dance coming up at my school, and I was wondering how to dance at it. I'm an eighth grade girl, and I usually just kind of embarrass myself at the school dances. It's not like anything fancy or formal or anything, so I don't mean like that type of dancing. Help??
