switching from tuba to trumpet?

I've always wanted to be a trumpet player , and love the music they play . but it seems like all the tubas at my school play boring stuff . (which we do) anyways .. I've been playing tuba for three years , going on four . so how hard would it be to switch from tuba to trumpet ? any tips or anything ? thanks . and about how much does a student horn usually cost ?

Im 15, and I don't know what I want to do with my life. I don't know what I enjoy besides hanging out with friends and music. I am obsessed with music. I love trying to find meanings behind words and songs also. I can't sing though but I would enjoy it if i could. Also if I could be anything I would want to be an actress. But I've never been in acting so I don't know whether or not I would actually enjoy it. I was in middle school drama but I hardly went. Please help me. This is mentally ******* with me. I want to figure out what my purpose of life is.
