Question: What rhymes with forever?

Posted: 13 Oct 2014 04:34 PM PDT

I'm writing a poem for my girlfriend and I can't think of a line to put in the last stanza. The last word of the line needs to rhyme with forever.

It's only been a year

I love you know, I loved you then,
And I'll love you forever.

If it wasn't obvious the line goes after it's only been a year

Question: Who is the gardener?

Posted: 13 Oct 2014 03:19 PM PDT

The gardener
gives me respite
He waters the plants
and gives me delight,

...In the night...
He carries a sabre
And it looks just like his...

...Which he uses
to make me feel special
He comes to my house in the deepest part of knight...

...nothing gets out of his sight

Tried to sneak up on him once, that i did,
But he was like a phantom, and cloaked me with him
I was the one with the fervor, vibrating heart.

He comes in the night...

Question: Can you help me with my poem?

There once was a witch named Carrie (it rhymes better with those 2 guys names)
Who was in love with both Harry and Larry.
Harry went to the well,
and down he fell,
so she decided to marry
the guy left named Kerry.

Question: In the poem Holy Sonnet 14, is the speaker a man or a woman?

Posted: 13 Oct 2014 03:09 PM PDT

It is widely assumed that the Sonnet is an autobiographical monologue of John Donne's experiences with his religion. So the speaker is most likely a man, specifically John Donne himself, but this is not known for sure
