Question: Since there are people being born all the time, do Generations really exist?

Generations are not viewed as time periods in genealogy but where you stand in regard to an ancestor. If you share the same grandparents you are first cousins and are in the same generation. My maternal grandmother had a first cousin born 42 years after she was born. Genealogy wise they are in the same generation as they share the same grandparents. No she wouldn't be that person's aunt because she was 42 years older. Legally and genealogy wise they were first cousins even though the cousin might have been taught to call her aunt as a matter of respect due to age difference. People who share great grandparents are second cousins and they are in the same generation genealogy wise no matter how large the gap in ages.
So your question really doesn't pertain to genealogy though it fell in the genealogy category..

I am in contact with a man whose wife is my 3rd cousin on my paternal grandfather's side.. We share the same great great grandparents. However I discovered when looking at the information he sent me he is my mother's 13th cousin. They share the same 12th great grandparents. That is putting 12 greats in front of grandparents. My mother was born in 1908 and he was born in 1954 but genealogy wise they are in the same generation. I am quite a bit older than he but he is a generation ahead of me coming down from our common ancestor.

So if you ever get into genealogy forget about those time period generation. Understand people with the same parents are siblings. People with the same grandparents are first cousins. People with the same great grandparents are second cousins. Age difference doesn't mean anything.

Question: Nationalilty of last name Rosmis?

Words don't have Nationalities, words which are all surnames are come from languages and the influence of languages.............if you want to know where your ancestry is from you have to research that, surname hunting will never tell you..........

It is likely to be a language from one of the eastern European countries

Question: If my great great uncle is someones great grandfather, who i am i to them?

Your parent would be that person's third cousin. You would be his third cousin once removed. If he had children, you would be their fourth cousin.

Question: Does anyone know about Cherokee tribes in South Carolina?

Posted: 11 Oct 2014 11:41 AM PDT

There are no Cherokees in south Carolina, and there haven't been for 200 years. Nor have there ever been any Cherokee reservations in south Carolina.

The county where she was born WAS home to the Creek Indians, who were relocated to Oklahoma in the early 1800's.
