| Question: How to get the big message out that Art and Entertainment are not the same thing? Posted: 22 Sep 2016 10:17 PM PDT You are beating your head against a proverbial wall. "What is art?" has been asked for the ages. That YOU define it so does not mean everyone else does. "... art is something that is created or rearrange to help develop the artist..." ORLY? Not by any definition of the word "art," that I've seen...Art need not 'help develop the artist,' nor develop ANYTHING in order to still be art. Just keep your ideal of what art is, and let everyone else keep theirs. You do not have to agree with any,nor they with you. There is no "big message" to get out. Your opinions on art and entertainment are yours, and you are welcome to them. Just because you do not agree with Hollywood does not mean they are wrong. Art means different things to different people. Learn to just accept this. |
