We put our gloves on, then out the door
Remembering those, who have gone before
Together we meet where sorrows grow
Between the crosses, row on row,
The sacrifice too great to forget
Their heartbeats ceased to pay our debt
Staring at their gravestones now,
Making peace with a silent vow.
Lest we forget the silent fighters
We are a wick, and they were our lighters
Home we walk through brisk fall air
Remembering all whom the field we share
Respecting the freedom they have boughten
Their namesake will not be forgotten
