| Question: Is it okay to smoke pot if I am a minor? Posted: 16 Sep 2016 04:47 PM PDT There are some defensible reasons to try to dissuade you from smokin' dope at thirteen. I've known some early teenage dopers, mainly because I was once a teen---I was far too timid to be one of them, then. I didn't take tea until I was in my late teens. They mostly came out of it only slightly stupid. And I mean that the 'sharp edge' of thought was in them blunted. That loss---palpable---mattered more in some cases than it did in others. Even in my late teens, I knew that dope, for me, was a false step. It used up hours in empty euphoria---when I couldn't AFFORD to take a vacation from the routines of living. So I quit. My brother didn't, and I have to say that he erred hugely. But it's your question, so all I'm gonna do here is suggest that you can afford to postpone your first doobie for a while. Years wouldn't hurt. |

| Question: What role did the spectators play in the poem the lady or the tiger? Posted: 16 Sep 2016 12:55 PM PDT It's a short story, not a poem. There's a Sylvia Plath poem based on it, but it's not called "The Lady or the Tiger?" As for the spectators, read the story. It will tell you. |
