| Question: Is a man born good? What is the problem of evil? Posted: 16 Sep 2016 05:17 AM PDT Man is born in a state of original sin according to the bible. That is not the same as being "bad" which isn't actually a religious term. "Sin: is a state separate from God. Being in a state of Sin (separate from god) is how you end up in hell. What you do in life has very little to do with being in a state of sin. The problem of evil is best outlined by Epicurus. If evil exists, god does not exist. Epicurean paradox[edit] |
