Question: Sheet music help for an accompanist?

It's up to you--if the song has several pages, you could leave the extra pages in your binder (but take it along just in case). However, in ANY case, MARK YOUR SHEET MUSIC not only where you want the accompanist to begin, but where you need to finish, as well if he or she will need to skip any verses or measures. You may do this in pencil so as not to permanently mark up your sheet music (especially if its borrowed). It's also permissible for the purposes of auditions, to make a TEMPORARY copy of the music for the accompanist so you could do things like highlight your selection if the sheet music if you want. Making an accompanist copy means you can also tape the pages together if your excerpt still has multiple pages (so that page turns won't be necessary).

Question: IS Backstage.com a good place to get my acting career started or is it a scam??

Backstage is one of the biggest and oldest industry publications. It's not a scam. You can subscribe to hard copies. The casting calls they post are real BUT these are all serious casting calls and no casting director advertising on backstage is looking for anyone without serious training and experience. They are looking for professional actors who have studied at top acting schools and have years of experience
You can have up to 10,000 people submitting to a casting call posted on Backstage, so the casting directors can afford to be extremely picky

Question: Good acting agencies to start my acting career? Ones that have tv networks like abc family, FX, Nickelodeon, ect. Im 16 and female (:?

Beginners cannot get into an agency. You need minimum 2-3 years training from a top acting school and 2-3 years experience in leading roles in amateur productions like community theatre, local Shakespeare festivals, summer stock, etc before any agent is going to even look at you. To get an agent for TV you need to be at an advanced level in your training and also have completed Scene Study, On Camera Acting and Cold Reading classes at an acting school

Question: How can i start my acting carear? Im 16, female, and i dont know where or how to start my acting careaer without any scams(: plz help.?

If you want a career in anything you have to train. No actor you known of got where they are today without training. You need to start getting experience in local groups and read lots of plays in preparation for training at an accredited drama school when you're 18. Good agents scout these schools at the end of your course for new talent. They are running a business, and they are not going to take you seriously if you don't take yourself seriously. If you want this, or anything in life, you'll work for it.

All the best.
