Question: WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?

Happiness is an emotion, not a light switch. This morning I was happy thinking about shaving tomorrow, even though I didn't shave today. Tomorrow, shaving may be a misery.

Question: Do you not find the world lonely as an atheist, how do you cope with the fact most people are nuts, out of control, off their rocker?

No matter who we are, we all need to take note of fast changing world events ~~~

The Bible vividly described long in advance the events that mark the last days. In connection with that, it urges us to consider "the days of Noah." "In those days before the flood," people were busy with the customary activities of life, though they were no doubt concerned about the prevalence of violence. As for the warning that God gave through his servant Noah, "they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away." (Matthew 24:37-39) Would you have heeded the warning? Do you do so now?

What if you had lived in Sodom, near the Dead Sea, in the days of the man Lot, a nephew of Abraham? The countryside was like a paradise. The city was prosperous. The people were carefree. In the days of Lot, "they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building." The society in which they lived was also grossly immoral. Would you have taken to heart the warning when Lot spoke out against bad practices? Would you have listened when he told you that God had determined to bring the city of Sodom to ruin? Or would you have treated it as a joke, as did Lot's prospective sons-in-law? Might you possibly have begun to flee but then turned back, as did Lot's wife? Though others did not take the warning seriously, on the day that Lot came out of Sodom, "it rained fire and sulphur from heaven and destroyed them all."—Luke 17:28, 29.

The majority in our day take no note. But these examples have been preserved in God's Word as a warning to us, to encourage us to KEEP ON THE WATCH!

Question: In the absence of evidence for or against the existence of something, should someone suspend judgement or assume nonexistence?

Of course not, but it's obvious what point you are trying to make.

With God, there is evidence (Heb 11:1), but it is of the circumstantial type of something that has not been seen (in this case God). Prosecutors (including atheist ones) routinely use such evidence to convict criminals even though no one actually saw the crime. However, when similar type evidence is presented for God's existence, atheists summarily and inconsistently dismiss such as an "absence of evidence" and characterize the presenter of such evidence as a complete nut job.

And let's just bottom line it. You know for a fact that if God himself appeared to you, calling down fire from heaven, causing earthquakes and even raising your dead grandmother back to life, your response would simply be something like, "I don't know exactly how you did all that, but someday scientists will figure it all out. Just because we don't know how something was done does not mean God exists" (i.e. the "God of the gaps" reasoning).

As Jesus said, "If they don't listen to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded if one rises from the dead" (Lk 16:31).

However, with all the above being said, the military space program engineer and former atheist in this video below found the observable scientific data retrieved by NASA probes compelling. Maybe you will too. Enjoy.


Question: What does philosophy teach people?

I guess that depends on exactly where this question ends up today, and where it started. I try to relate them contextually to the section they were posted in although cultural differences can result in ironious tangential arguments developing.

The philosophologists will seize on studies of deceased antiquarians to revel in their justifications of entrenched extremes and to demonstrate to us thickoes just how superior they are, and the finer points of grammar and spelling.

Im here to learn, and I have a long way to go! In my case it can be about anything, but in particular other interesting people, their views, perceptions, perspectives, experiences, knowledge, learning, and especially what they are feeling about everything. Thats how you make friends!

Philosophy is about life, the universe and everything, it has much to teach, even about (((hugs))).

We are contained to rain and nature and influence nature on a physical level as both are physical in physical super positioned systems there is potential and possibility they may be connected. Only when entering the super conciousness or unconscious mind can we expect to see some one tap into the ability to CONTROL the weather.

IT's all essentially source
Everything is contained within itself within varied layers, varried potentials, possibilities scales as super positioned layers. Dimensions, languages , thoughts, sciences, experiences. Within every possible state contains the potential and partiality of another infinitely expressed as a sea of infinite potentials and possibilities. Varied realities exist within infinite combinations within infinite diversities as one true nature in which reality is at the source of the the one true nature of all realities. Knowledge and facts do not truly refer to the nature of reality. Infinite super positioned recursion. All of society can be broken down into coherent archetypes of the unconcisouness which can be broken down into a coherent convergent frame of reference which manifests within varied potentials and possibilities partly e≈siting as a siuper positioned consciousness of it's potential whole of a collective consciousness and unconsciousness. Possible potential expressions of what may be the whole, in which the whole is only partly expressed at any time, yet all that is expressed is some way reflecting upon the whole. Often referred to as the one ness mind that manifests in several unique and distinct expressions of mind. Everything can be broken down into a single coherent image that contains the whole within super position as everything within super position like a fractal even in it's tiniest detail and part contains the whole. The single idea or form is representative of it's varied potential possibilities. All ideas and members of society are contained within and within is contained the whole. All within is contained within the whole. Everything is unified and connected. Everything there for is representive of the whole and the universe simply exists , no time truly exists , no separation exists. Everything IS source.Experience and reality simply exists. We are part of nature and so there is NO mystery to solve we ARE reality and so there is no nature to solve. We observe and measure and it exists.Like an idea we all evolve from a single cell organism, like atoms we are all connected. Superposition

You see in a way we are in rain's image because rain is in the image of nature and in the image of God and in a way rain is in our image as it is in the image of nature and God. We share experience, everything partly existing actually reflects upon one universal unified whole.

An idea is like a single cell organism it contains the potential and possibility of the whole or like an atom. Like an idea we all evolve from a single cell organism, like atoms we are all connected. Superposition A single form or idea or any building block in some way represents the potentiality and possibilities of its whole.
