| Question: How did world war 1 started? Posted: 28 Sep 2014 04:04 AM PDT It started by people shooting at each other. The reasons are many. I am in the middle of reading The Sleepwalkers, How Europe Went to War in 1814 by Christopher Clark. This discusses in 400 odd pages the many threads going back to the late 19th century that eventually led to the cataclysm which followed the murder of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in June 1914. |
