| Question: How do I go about writing the beginning of a story? Posted: 27 Sep 2014 03:03 AM PDT How do I go about writing the beginning of a story? I'm really bad at leading into the climax of a story but i can write conflict and the end just fine. I get ahead of myself and then don't know how to "forget" how it ends up so i immediately want to go there without reasoning why. Is there a good drafting tool anyone can suggest? |
| Question: Where/when would be a good setting for a time travel novel? Posted: 27 Sep 2014 02:40 AM PDT Where/when would be a good setting for a time travel novel? It's not about a particular event you would like to see, it's about the setting. For example, the Scottish Highlands have been SO overdone that they're right out. Can you think of any exciting, interesting times and places that HAVEN'T been overdone? Historians, any suggestions? |
