Question: How many acting/theatre classes would I need to take to be a little better at acting for a hobby?

Nice try. How about none!

11 plays and you wanna do better in acting? If you think you're going to be a professional actress, then forget it! You need to take acting classes and it takes years to become a professional actress. Agents aren't going to except school plays or community theaters. You need professional training like soap operas actors. Acting agents are looking for REAL actors not lame school plays. You might as well forget it. You think you know about being a professional actor but really you don't. Stop acting like it's going to happen. You're not going to make it. It's not going to happen!

Classical dramatic acting duets for 2 girls?

Any suggestions are appreciated! I can't find any scripts that work! Must be before 1900. Also can be scripts that date back before 1900 from another language and translated into modern English. Thank you!

Question: I'm 14 and wanting to start an acting career?

If you've never actually tried acting at all, how on earth do you know if a) you have any talent, b) you would have the capability to learn everything you need to know and c) if the life of an actor would suit you?

Practising on your own not only doesn't count at all, but will probably work against you. All you've been doing is teaching yourself bad habits. You can't possibly assess your own strengths and weaknesses, your progress or your mistakes.

Until you've been attending a really good acting school for a couple of years and performed with a community theatre for a few performances, you won't even know if you can act.

Train for an 'ordinary' job - preferably one you can work self-employed, alongside acting. Then, if you DO want to pursue acting as a career in the future, you'll have a way to earn a living. Very few actors ever get more than 2 or 3 weeks' paid acting work a year.

But as for starting an acting career soon - without many years of training and experience, it's simply not going to happen. If you started all that right now, it would be at least another 5 to 8 years before you'd be ready for an agent or auditions on a professional level.

It's an incredibly competitive career to choose.

Question: I'm a new youtuber. help!?

I'm a new youtuber. help!?

I just started with youtube and I have a butt load of plans for my channel, and for viewers. One of my plans is to gather voice actors and actresses for a small series. Whether this will become a reality or not, I don't know.
What I need to know is how you arrange this type of thing. Like what are good editing programs to get people's attention? and How do you exchange lines and voice clips if the actors live somewhere else?
Any advice helps! thanks!

How do I stage kiss if it is my first kiss?

Soo..... The play is Pride and Prejudice and I am Lizzie and I have to kiss Darcy. I have kissed before (another stage kiss) but I had no idea what I was doing.... So I was winding how I could be better prepared or know what I'm doing? Thanks! (We never actually performed the kiss before, we just practiced it and didn't add it in)
