The Silk Road Art suggestions?

I have to write a paper about 2 art pieces that were a result of the Silk Road. Anyone have any suggestions on art ideas to write about?

go into a silent comforatble area, close your eyes and just imagine houses giant buildings and things that are awesome, whatever inspires you. have a sketchbook at hand and makes sure to draw out your ideas. hope this helps
