Arts & Humanities: Poetry: “Question: Por qué lo hicieron, me pregunto?” plus 4 more

Question: Por qué lo hicieron, me pregunto?

Posted: 26 Sep 2014 02:34 PM PDT

Question: Where have all the poets gone?

Posted: 26 Sep 2014 02:16 PM PDT

Its funny you should ask
See I was thinking the same
Perhaps their playing
Some cheeky, devilish, chiding little game
I checked in the cupboard
Looked all under the stairs
Im sure they will turn up soon
On a day when noone cares
As is this way of life
When we seek so hard to find
Never is it fruitful
What a sorry bind

Il leave you with a thought
They never went away?
Maybe if we wish hard enough
The poets come out to play?

Question: Would you like to critique this poem?

You have got a poignant, impressively powerful short story here.
I think it needs a lot of work; I suspect there was no editing yet,
but the concept is outstanding, and you provide good imagery to
give a clarity of what this is.

Unfortunately, many did and still do judge God and Jesus though
the actions of man, and spite God for it, become bitter, resentful,
even lose friends over it, where to the true believer he accepts others
the way they are. Jesus Christ is an equal opportunity Savior and
loves the man that died in this story.

What are you going to do with this? I hope to see the sequel, cough
cough, thomas.

Question: POLL: Is this poem good for my class?

We had to write a metaphor poem, and i was wondering if this is good or not?

Love is the light at the end of a dark tunnel
Is the warmth of a heart;
beating just for you

It's a rare finding
inside a lifeless soul
Is the warmth of a heart;
beating just for you

Question: What should I name this poem?

Would you rather read people's mind or change people's mind?

No more unhappy love affairs, no conflicts, no jealousy, no curiosity. Just imagine again how your world would be like if you were able to read or control people's...
