i am 18 and am trying to find my birth family.?

I dont know enough to make something like ancestry.com a viable option. All i know is that my birth mothers name is Pamela Jenkins she would be approx 32 years of age. and i was born and adopted in montana. if anyone could help me out with a site to use or if anyone is a "search angel" the help would be appreciated

Question: Is there a chance that I could find my biological father without knowing his name or any other information on him? Also doesn't cost a lot?

No.

If you were male,
AND had $300 for a DNA test,
AND one of his other sons had also been tested
AND had used the same company
(The chance of that is roughly 1 in a million)
then you and the other son would have a 67-point match.

The Internet is powerful, not magic.

Question: Add family member, should be all new or under my name?

If you are talking about a genealogy program or web app, you add the person under his/her original name, which is maiden name for women and what it was before he changed it for men.

Question: How can I trace my ancestry?

There isn't enough data about India on-line to make it useful. Cyndi's list, for instance, has 250,000+ sites, and all she has about India is a list of British colonial officers born there.
