Question: Struggles when playing the guitar? Posted: 30 Sep 2014 08:30 PM PDT Ello. Just started playing for a first time a couple weeks ago and I've been having the same problems over and over when I play. I own an acoustic, and I'm trying to learn never too late by 3dg. And I'll start off good now hitting most of the notes perfectly, I guess cuz I'm fresh. And the more I play the more it seems I mess up notes and I'll try to repeat all over to get it right and it's just a train wreck lol. Any tips on how to get better and not make this mistake? It's like a bug trying to move in a spider's webs but it keeps getting pulled in tighter.
Question: (MALE) I need 2 contrasting monologues!? Posted: 30 Sep 2014 07:41 PM PDT Hello, After high school, I would like to attend a college for acting. I have found one that I like. Now I need 2 contrasting monologues! I need your help. I am looking for 2 monologues for a male in the age range of 18-25. I'm hoping that someone can respond who truly knows what 2 good contrasting monologues look like. They can be contemporary or classical, although, I'd prefer contemporary. Thanks for the help!
Posted: 30 Sep 2014 07:36 PM PDT Ok, I am looking to upgrade my gear. So far, I only have a distortion pedal, a volume pedal, and a delay pedal. I would love to have some setups from some of my fave guitarists. However, I have seen them, for the most part, use a multi-effect pedal. There are tutorials on the web that show their setup though, but not sure if that is the best practice. My budget for pedals right now, will be at $350. I play on a music group, but since it is on a stage, I don't want to rely on amp effects, since we have had countless issues if we try to mic the amp up. So, given my budget, what would be the best way to go? Any suggestions are welcome. By the way, the style I am aiming for is from Hillsong United, which is like a contemporary "rock-ish" style. Cheers and thank you :)
