Question: What should my rising action be?

What should my rising action be?

I'm forced to write a 10 minute play for my drama class. My act 1 is about a woman named Eleanor who has just moved into a small midwestern town with her dog. She doesn't like people. Then, the inciding is that a woman named Gladys from the town comes and knocks on Eleanor's door. Gladys is pushy, so she manages to get into the house with some home made muffins. I originally thought the plot should be that they become friends. Then, I got some suggestions that Gladys should slowly reveal her insanity and Eleanor has to gather the courage to force Gladys out of her home. In either case, I can't imagine writting five pages. Does anyone have any ideas for the plot? I'm really stuck.

Is this a good choice from my theater professor?

So my professor asked the class to bring an interactive item that we are passionate about. I thought about it and I'm really passionate about snowboarding. The problem is, idk if a snowboard is interactive to the class. If it is, can you explain how it is interactive?
Thanks for the answers guys :)
