Question: Zinn's A People's History of the United States question?

It sure douses a lot of cold water on claims of US exceptionalism i.e. the notion that America and Americans, unlike other peoples or nations, are always nice, fair and moral. Anyone who reads it realizes just how much has been "swept under the rug" or not taught in history classes, to preserve the exceptionalist myth. That said, it is not a great idea to teach history from a moralistic point of view. Inevitably, the real world will be immoral or amoral. The lesson to be taken from the work is that the US is typical not particularly bad.

Question: What Happened here? Did I Do Something Wrong?

What Happened here? Did I Do Something Wrong?

So, I the High School football game tonight and expected to have a good time with all my friends like at the last game but, when I got there and found everyone no one was talking to me. I showed up pretty on time last time but, when I showed up for this game I was a 1/2 hour late. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. No one was sitting by me and everyone was acting as if I wasn't there. I talked to my "squad" briefly but they were all divided up into different groups and I didn't know where to go except into the big group of people. So, I went in there and a couple people were talking to me but, not many. I truthfully didn't have fun and didn't really no what to do at this point. I towards the end of the 3rd quarter with only a couple people saying goodbye to me. What did I do? Is this my fault.

Question: One ****** died because of me?

Posted: 20 Sep 2014 05:45 AM PDT

Here is the info

A bar was closed since I started a fight with a little girl, she was trying to rob my cigarettes. The bar closed and one ****** went home and drank himself to death. Now he is burning in hell because he drank like a fish and now they blame me so he burns for the incidental harm caused in his foul name. Do you care that one ****** died? Do you care that he burns in hell? Would you blame me? Do you rejoice that one ****** died? If so is that because it was a ******? I prefer responses from the north but if your from the south you can respond as well
