Me and my drama group have had the most frustrating experience with finding a script for our comedy section. It seems like we can't find a good one, and if we do we have to pay a lot. My question would be this: does anyone have a good comedic script that my group of 6 (4F,2M) could use? Do you guys know a good website? We go to competition next month and we can't find something to do. Anything would be useful. Thank you sososo much in advance! |
| Question: Using 3 1/2 Clarinet Reed and can't tune? Posted: 16 Sep 2014 07:38 PM PDT Using 3 1/2 Clarinet Reed and can't tune? I have a 3 1/2 reed (randomly given to me when I asked for a reed) and in band two head clarinets were tuning and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with mine. I tried all the mouth tricks, pulling the thing below the mouthpiece in and out but they couldn't figure out what was wrong but they knew something was. (One minute sharp, told me to do something, then sharper, return to original position then it's super flat. I've never had that happen before). I've been playing for about a year but I would consider myself pretty advanced. I've never payed attention to reed size in the past so I can't compare. Should I get a harder or softer reed? |
| Question: Looking for the right instrument for me ? plz help? Posted: 16 Sep 2014 07:04 PM PDT NO! There is no such thing as hard to play. I started playing guitar on my mothers 12 string and it really wore my fingers out but I caught that bug. Make sure you tune it well and don't expect to be great over night. I spent every free min playing that guitar. Get a nylon string and start with some beginner classical guitar books, even TAB books. They are easier on the fingers. And if possible take some beginner lessons even if its from a friend your age that knows 5 chords, it helps if you surround yourself with like minded people. You will end up practicing more just to have a new tune to show them, it helps really. Please tough it out, you will end up loving that instrument!!! |
| Question: I want to learn how to play guitar? Posted: 16 Sep 2014 06:42 PM PDT You were born in the right decade! You have Youtube at your fingertips 24/7. There are so many free lessons on YT it would take you 100 years to learn them all. You will love that instrument! Practice every day 2 to 3 hours. Go to Youtube and look up (Jess Lewis - Feeling Fine) |

| Question: How old is my selmer flute serial number12282? Posted: 16 Sep 2014 05:17 PM PDT Hi. Unless you surround yourself with someone that may have worked at Conn/Selmer/Bundy back in the day, that had connection with serial numbers - finding the right answer for this question via internet may be purely impossible. Here is my semi-educated guess however. 1979. Now if it's a "made in France" Selmer flute, of which it would disclose on the instrument = different story for the date. Cheers and good luck.
