Can you slow dance to Sam Smith's Stay w/ me?

I'm having a dance for my school and there have been some people questioning whether or not you could do so

To be honest, I really doubt it.
Training for that many hours would kill you - at the very least it would damage your feet very badly and might damage far more.

Most professional ballet dancers have quit by the time they're 26 to 30.
They trained at top ballet schools from the age of about 6 and by your age, they have 16 years of training and experience under their belts. By the time you're ready to audition, you're going to be competing with thousands of them for even the tiniest role in a chorus/ensemble.

You could still become a good dancer - especially if you could do many types - tap, ballroom, jazz, contemporary, street, etc. That might be a better more achievable goal.

Other than CPYB, what are some good ballet summer intensive programs in the US (with no age cut-off)?

Do you have to be African American to be a majorette? Because my old dance teacher from 8th grade are having tryouts for her own dance team. I am currently now a sophomore and I saw online that she was having tryouts, but the on the flyer and fb page it says "Dazzlin Dymes & Ravishing Ebony Dancers." When I saw it I kinda thought twice about not going to tryouts because I don't wanna go when I can't try out you know? I'm Asian btw and I LOVE to dance Majorette style !!
