| Question: Creative ideas for a collage to do with conflict? Posted: 06 Oct 2014 11:16 AM PDT Hi, we have been given a two-week project in which we must go out and find pictures (preferably scanned images from books) and photographs we have taken ourselves. The aim is to put together a collage (digital or physical) that expresses juxtaposition and collision. We must pick two things that contrast (conflict) with each other and I have been having a lot of trouble wondering how I am going to go about making my collage. What things I would have to include and the way it is going to look. I am going to mix physical AND digital collage together but the hard part is the idea itself. Update : The collage must show the two themes conflicting with one another. There must be a clear contrast. So far, I have chopped-up and put together images of rock, plastic bottles/waste, rotting flowers and wires. I currently have no idea how I am going to show contrast between earth and man and how we are damaging the planet without being too cliche. |
| Question: Images showing up in old photo? Posted: 06 Oct 2014 11:09 AM PDT Images showing up in old photo? Hello! I have an old photograph that belonged to my Grandparents. My grandfather was in the army, so I have a lot of pictures of people I don't know. I have a picture of this young man standing by a 'Post Chaplain' sign. I've seen the picture before, and as time goes on, all these images of people are showing up. I keep the pictures in a plastic container, and this picture stays on top, so there is no chance for any type of transfer if you will. Also, I have no other picture that looks like these images. I don't know who anyone is, but it's really creepy. I swear I have not altered the picture at all!!! What does anyone think? |

I have art homework where I have to list a few different complementary and contrasting colours but I don't know the difference between them! Can someone please explain the difference and list a few of each? |
| Posted: 06 Oct 2014 10:45 AM PDT Wait are you asking us to help you choose between them or saying they're not available and to reccomend other tablets? I always reccomend Wacom above all: http://fox-orian.deviantart.com/art/Waco... |
