I've been wanting to play guitar and uke for a while now, but I don't know if learning ukulele first will help guitar or guitar helps ukulele or neither, so I'm just kind of curious as to which one I should start with

You dont necessarily have to tell jokes. You can talk about and make fun of things. Like public restrooms for example. Talk about a funny experience you had.

Question: How to become a broadway/musical actor?

How to become a broadway/musical actor?

I dont have any experience. Im already 22 years old.
But Im just so interested in broadways and musicals and shows and movies but more so in the musicals. I feel like its one of the things I would so love to do.
The only thing about me is that I can sing, and I can dance if I were taught the moves but I probably- definitely need lessons, also, acting lessons. But the thing with me is that Ive never had any experience in performing arts. I wasnt in the performing arts academy in high school, and in college right now Im almost graduating in Nursing, I love nursing, but, but just growing up, Ive loved singing and dancing and acting. I just want to perform, I guess. Even at least once.
And I know its crazy for me to just jump from a very different career to broadway, which, I know isnt that simple. But I would just love to know the steps I could take. I know there are people who are applying to these things and are graduates of the performing arts and versatile in terms of dancing, singing and acting. And surely they have been studying performing arts all their lives, like since they were babies. I just want to know if, and want to believe that its not too late for me. Im willing to take lessons and do this,
I just think I should start looking this up because it is one of my dreams and I would love for it to happen, even if I end up realizing its not working out after my first production. So I just want to know how I could go about starting to make this happen...
any advice???

Question: Where are some good places for an acoustic guitarist to play near Ahwatukee?

Posted: 10 Oct 2014 05:38 PM PDT

My friend and I want to start playing in the area, she does guitar and i sing with a few songs. Maybe an hours drive away is the farthest we can go.

Update : I forgot to mention that we are younger, and probably can not play in bars
