- Question: Do you feel that even if someone changes their entire wardrobe, hairstyle, and looks, it doesn't matter...?
- Question: Athiests-What is the purpose of life?
- Question: Have something or some kind of meaning in their awake life?
Posted: 07 Oct 2014 08:39 AM PDT You can go beyond.. It is within your power and it is your right. It seems there was a Russian leader whose stupid son had great difficulty understanding the Russian fashions, hairdos, wardrobe, the concepts of the motherland, the communist party,,the unions and the ordinary people The politician father told the son to think of his father as the party, his mother as the motherland, his grandmother as the unions, and himself as the ordinary people.
Question: Athiests-What is the purpose of life? Posted: 07 Oct 2014 08:25 AM PDT There is no purpose. We are here, because some billion years ago a chemical reaction started (probably of natural causes) during which a chain molecule (like RNA or DNA or similar) produces copies of itself. The copies it produced also produces copies of themselves. From time to time the copies produced botched copies and these then produced copies of themselves, not of the original molecule. This reaction is still going on. We call it life. All life forms are copies of copies of (billions times) copies of that first molecule. Life is a chemical reaction. We occur naturally. There is no purpose for that.
Question: Have something or some kind of meaning in their awake life? Posted: 07 Oct 2014 07:17 AM PDT Have something or some kind of meaning in their awake life? I have noticed that, when there is a disagreement between two people, each person involved tends to remember the incident differently. Each remembers it in such a way that it favors them, and casts the other person in a bad light. How can this be counteracted? Is it possible to do so? If not, then is it totally impossible for humans to view reality objectively?
