Update : I was thinking of an event that promotes a certain culture like a concert featuring a reggae artisits from Jamaica but I want to also have an event that promotes Adoption but not sure how to make a fundraiser/ event for that.

13 The Musical audition...?

okay so im a ninth grader and soon, there will be auditions for 13 The Musical at my highschool. The audition includes performing a monologue that somewhat shows off the skills needed for the character you want to play, as well as a song that shows off that youre capable of singing at your characters level. If i want to audition for Kendra, what song and monologue do you think I should do? Thanks in advance.

Easy audition song for mezzo- soprano? Into The Woods.?

I'm auditioning for Into the Woods jr. in a few days, and I really want to be Little Red Ridinghood. I've done many musicals before and usually auditioned with simple Disney songs. I don't know many songs, but i wanted to know some tips and suggestions for song ideas. Should I sing I Know Things Now (It is allowed) something well known, or something completely different? Is it a bad idea to sing a not very known song like from A Very Potter Musical/ Sequel? (Not Alone, Harry, The Coolest girl, etc.) Thank you :D
