| Question: Live music that would be suitable for a coffeehouse? Posted: 22 Mar 2015 08:30 PM PDT It's a long story but my band members are far away and right now I am band-less. It really kinda sucks. I've played electric and classical guitar professionally and recently realized I will always need music in my life. I miss playing music, and what it all comes down to is that recently I got offered a chance to play at this coffee house. They have live music sometimes, and they asked me to play. I'm scared because I've never played anything on my own, and I don't have anyone else to play. I'm not sure what kind of music I could play without other people, just myself, or what kind of equipment I would need in order to do it. It would have to be something I can pull off, and that the audience would get off on. I'm learning jazz but not well versed in it. Electric guitar is more suited to the dynamics of a band, than by yourself. And classical guitar, I'm not as well versed in classical and even though I LOVE it, no one really "gets off" on it. I believe that a TRUE musician can play any genre, but I have always inclined to blues/rock. Even solo artists perform with others, even if they don't have a steady band... right? I'm scared, in a bind, and really could use some advice. Constructive advice. Thank you if you can help me. Thanks if you can help me. |

| Question: Gibson hard shell case didn't come with a key? Posted: 22 Mar 2015 04:13 PM PDT Best Answer: If you just bought it, 'hope you didn't just drop or toss it (and assume you've looked into the little compartment inside, if it's unlocked). Any decent locksmith can make you a key to work, but I'd just get the stupid thing open and never use it again, anyway. If I'm a bad guy, I won't politely open the case - I'll take the whole thing. But then there's "little ones", or roomies, so do what ya gotta do. Then maybe treat it like a firearm. Source(s): Asker's rating
