| Question: Creating art and anxiety. A question to preferably pros. ? Posted: 30 Mar 2015 10:05 AM PDT I am looking for some tips and thoughts from professionals. I do love sketching and drawing/painting for myself. I have been drawing since the age of 4, but suddenly i lost my passion. It was my biggest passion, but when i think about illustrating for clients, for a book, i feel some kind of anxiety and a quite massive headache. I do not know, but it seems to be a real struggle for me to create something for someone else, where there is endless possibilites and endless solutions. The uncertainty does not work for me. Why do you think i am experiencing this? Is this normal, or is it because it is not something suitable for me? I used to enjoy the idea, but now i can say that i hate it. I even lost my passion for art, and it makes me sad :( The same thing happens when i think about working for an animation or game company. |
