| Question: My DSLR photos come out blurry when sent to my phone? Posted: 24 Mar 2015 11:07 AM PDT Since blur is caused by camera or subject movement, my guess is you are actually asking about out of focus or pixelated images. If your images as seen on your computers monitor show NO blur and are in focus, that means that when you upload the retouched images to Instagram, Instagram changes the resolution. I do have a question. Why are you emailing your images anywhere so you can do some retouching. The workflow is rather simple * shoot using your digital SLR |
| Posted: 24 Mar 2015 10:56 AM PDT Hello, Their lines are probably smooth because they're using a drawing tablet while drawing instead of mouse. Using mouse makes the line flat and gives a sort of pixelated look sometimes -- while a drawing tablet makes lines that are smooth and the line gets thicker and thinner the harder and lighter you drag the pencil across it. Free drawing programs are Gimp, Mypaint, tuxpaint, mischief ( the free version has less brushes, but its still a drawing application ), Artweaver, and pixia You can also try free trails of really great painting programs such as OpenCanvas, Sai, and photoshop. Good luck! oxox |

| Posted: 24 Mar 2015 10:30 AM PDT There are LOTS of jobs for artists. I've been a pro designer for over 40 years now. The thing - the thing that many people don't get - is that children can draw. Many can draw pretty well and they can paint, too. Then you have just millions and millions of people who draw, paint, sculpt and whatever, and lots of them do it pretty well, too. Some even make some money. If someone wants to get a job they can't just be good, of pretty good or even really good, they have to be the very best with exceptional talent and ability. "Cream rises to the top" applies more to art than maybe any other field.
