| Question: Is this a good poem? Posted: 26 Mar 2015 02:48 PM PDT Patience, my dear friend, for you are not alone You are not the only one in silence who griefs and moans Force your mouth wide, smile and show teeth Stand up straight and tall, don't dare show defeat People will laugh, look and whisper but they will not see Time alone will tell your story Take a step forward, now another, one, two, three Your wings are finally opening, they are signs of new life So there, my dear friend, the patience you've endured Also, does anyone know any good websites full of story and poem telling competitions? I have a collection of stories I want to share and possibly gain something from it. Thank you :) |
