I played in a band for years, and we achieved some moderate fame. I don't care about riches, or money. I don't care about fame for its own sake, but I long to feel important and I feel like I need the music I made to be validated.

I left the band due to creative differences and several members were jerks to me to be honest.

I can't just be happy sitting at home alone playing with no one to make music with or hear me.

Please don't tell me to pursue other interests. I'm a tomboy and I'm not some girly girl who likes gossip, makeup, shopping, etc. Music is missing in my life and I'll never be whole without it.

When I played in the band it was practically half my life. I can't live without being in a band. It's killing me.

I have become depressed and cry a lot. I want to scream or commit suicide because I am so sick of feeling this emptiness.

What can I do? My life is totally empty... I don't have a dad (he deserted me), my mom yells at me and I have no one I can talk to about anything, the only living thing that ever gave me love was my dog and she's dead now, I don't have a boyfriend, and I have to walk around with all these feelings concealed when I want to explode. I have friends but feel alone in spite of all that.

I need music in my life in order to be whole, and I have no pulse anymore. I don't have an appetite for life and I am terrified because I seriously can't handle this empty, dead person I have become. Is music gone from my life forever?
