| Question: How did british colonization affect india? Posted: 18 Aug 2016 07:37 AM PDT It made them from a really rich country into a poor dump. They basically robbed the indians. https://dmarron.com/2012/06/21/2000-years-of-economic-history-in-one-chart-and-another/ British colonization started late 1700s and full effect in 1800s. Look at how india and britains wealth switch. It was a really horrible act in history comparable to other horrific events like slavery, but history is written by the winners. And in this case britain won, india lost. the only benefit was they united a couple indian kingdoms into a major country. |

Low carbon is .02 to .08 % while high carbon iron has 3 to 5% carbon. |

| Question: Why was Washington and his presidency so important to the nation? Posted: 18 Aug 2016 04:38 AM PDT Washington's tenure in office set the nation on a path that has endured now for over 200 years, longer than any other republic in history. He established precedents that would last for generations and did more to flesh out the skeleton of the presidential office than anyone could have expected or predicted. |
