| Posted: 09 Aug 2016 09:53 PM PDT I currently have steel and nylon strings on my guitar. I want to replace my strings but I am keeping the 4th 5th and 6th string steel. For the first three I am not sure what to choose nylon or steel. The nylon and steel sound very good.and my guitar fors made for steel strings. Are there nylon strings that are plated and the how the string feels. Thank you in advance |

| Question: How to 'use' scales on guitar? Posted: 09 Aug 2016 04:41 PM PDT This answer I gave a few years ago should help you a lot... https://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/in... In it, I describe how to use a box pattern style scale, and how the pattern can be repeated in on up to 13 different places on the guitar, and the "key" doesn't matter, you just adjust the starting note or "root" to whatever key scale you want. |
