Well, demons have horns, an ugly face, fangs, claws, sometimes cloven feet, sometimes not, sometimes a tail, sometimes not, red or blue skin depending on what era you're in. Angels are graceful, glowing, gentle, unless you're like Michael, sometimes they have wings and sometimes they don't. It's just what era of time you're in.
Demons started out red, like being in fire then the skin was blue as with being far away from the warmth of God's warm love. Look it up.

Oh, soul of mine,
find your way back to me;
Are they now forgotten -
our days spent by the sea?
So long, so far,
gone forever, ceaselessly?
Or do you pine,
despite the time,
for peace and harmony?
Without you, I am lost.
See, I understand your needs,
but when you disappeared, I hoped
you'd bring love home to me.
Now, I need you here;
I ache perpetually -
our time to bond,
forge love so strong,
embrace eternally.

It's another feminist we-hate-men poem, just like Sylvia Plath might write. Feminism is what they teach in college these days to get you from having a family.

The speaker is talking about herself in metaphor as a rose that turns purple from getting hit by a man.

Even though it is simple and cliche ,I actually enjoyed reading it.
It is pretty good. Just format it like this.

It doesn't matter what your name is.
It matters who you are.
It matters how your soul is
together near and far.

When darkness falls about you
and you stumble about in fright,
the only ones that are there to help you,
your family holds the light.

And if you need someone to come to,
they have the truest heart.
Family are the best ones who you'll
be proud to be a part.

So when the mountains give way to flat land that ends
up at the sea, there always is a roadway for our family.
