| Question: Is there a website to thoroughly discuss philosophy? Posted: 05 Aug 2016 06:30 PM PDT http://www.philosophytalk.org has a weekly online radio broadcast, and a blog commentary. Also, they have hosted a live-chat interface with working philosophers such as Rebecca Goldstein ("Plato at the Googleplex"); Christina Hoff Sommers ("The War against Boys"). The next one, if any, is indeterminate. However, the site is run out of Stanford, which gave initial support but by now expects the site to pay its own way. As of 9-2016, it will be totally membership-funded (plus some foundation support). So, $35. per year to participate. Good interview discussions at http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01f0vzr You can get personal responses from working philosophers, a super-Yahoo! Answers, at http://www.askphilosophers.org |
