| Question: Bullet Journal: Weekly Vs. Daily Spreads? Posted: 23 Aug 2016 09:45 PM PDT For those who bullet journal... do you prefer to use a weekly spread or a daily spread, or do you do both? If you do both... does it get repetitive? How do you decide what goes on the weekly and what goes on the daily? |

| Question: Can a single descion or event change an individual's perspective? Posted: 21 Aug 2016 10:24 PM PDT Yes. A couple examples from my life: ~ My cousin, a perfectly healthy person aged 56, non-smoker, non-drinker, etc ~ well, he just up and got esophageal (throat) cancer for no apparent reason and died. This altered my perspective on death. Without dwelling on it in my thoughts, I now completely understand that death can come at any time for no apparent reason. I suppose I knew it could before ~ but now I am completely sure. That's a change in perspective, although one might say it is a small change. ~ For me, I used/abused alcohol for 30+ years and was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver last year. I had a big choice ~ either quit drinking or die within a relatively short time. I chose to quit drinking. It wasn't 'a walk in the park', but I did quit. I don't preach about the 'evils of alcohol' or anything like that. I just now know that one can have a perfectly enjoyable life without alcohol ~ which, for me, is/was a radical change of perspective ... from just that one decision. |
