Question: Disney audition resume and headshot?

A Disney park character is someone who dresses up as one of the Disney characters. Either you will be in a mascot suit, or if you can be made to resemble--say--one of the Disney "princesses", and interact with Disney guests, then that is what they are really looking for.

Disney calls virtually ALL of its employees "cast members" even if they work as a cashier in one of their souvenir shops.

This is NOT an real acting job. They are not casting movie or television roles, and unless you DO have singing, dancing, and acting experience, it is highly unlikely you will get a job actually entertaining in any of their stage shows.

A resume is useful if you actually have something to put on it. If there is NOTHING (not even a stint working as a character in a haunted house), then you have no resume. A headshot is useful since it allows them to see what you look like, because in many cases you need to have a certain look to be hired.

The links Katrina E. has listed are the ONLY Disney career links out there. There are FAKE sites that LOOK like Disney sites, but are usually connected with some sort of scam.

Things to remember...Disney NEVER charges you to apply for jobs or auditions or makes you pay them directly for lessons, resumes, portfolios, etc.
They NEVER advertise on radio or print, nor do they make random calls to people who did not contact them first.

If this is not the site you found your job notice, AGAIN, beware!

The site Katrina lists is for actual acting jobs, and they RARELY have open calls. When they do, what happens is that they often send notices out to performing art schools (if they need unknown kids), and many of these kids have had at least a few professional acting jobs and an agent (even if they did mainly commercials or bit parts).

Question: Do you play a musical instrument?
