| Question: Looking for some advice? Posted: 07 Aug 2016 02:48 AM PDT I'm in need of a job. An art related job. I never knew how hard art was, until I graduated college. I've been applying everywhere but haven't gotten any calls. Maybe it's due to a lack of experience. I've been a traditional artist for the longest time, recently transitioning into digital art. And I can say that I'm proficient with photoshop but most jobs require you to know more than one program, I think. I need to be aware of Adobe Suite, sometimes 3d programs like maya, etc. But I don't. It's just too much to take in. I mean, I've only just got a hang of photoshop. Knowing the ins and outs of each individual program takes a lot of time. And I feel that if I can get any sort of art related job, I'd be happy(-er), than I am right now doing whatever I'm doing. Maybe you can take a look at my illustrations and tell me what I'm doing wrong, or if I need to get better. |
| Posted: 07 Aug 2016 12:23 AM PDT How much did you earn? That is going to be the crucial question for a professional. If you really are making serious money then approach an illustration agency, they should be able to put you in touch with someone. |
