I have an idea what I want to write, but it isn't well developed. I don't have the plot twist or the antagonist.

Hi I'm looking for the title and the author of a novel (or novella) in which the narrator lives in a society where old people (it's NOT Soylent Green) are killed by youngsters. And the narrator happens to get his first white hair the day the story occurs. I think it is from a Russian author. Thanks a lot

" Pride and Prejudice " by Jane Austen is very good too.
