I'm not saying that I need compliments to survive, but I'm being completely honest here.
So it seems that whenever I post art online, nobody seems to care. I understand that when it's on deviant art it's really hard to get attention and that doesn't bother me. But I sometimes post on forums. While people post mediocre pictures drawn in M.S. Paint that don't require much effort, I spend hours on realistic pencil drawings of celebrities. They could use improvement, but I think they are pretty good for my age. so what I don't understand is when I post something on a forum, nobody even comments on it. They tell the people who do the mediocre art that it is amazing and beautiful, but they never compliment me. It makes me feel not worth it. Why do people do this? When I see really good art I always comment on it. But when people see my art they say nothing. Here are three pictures I drew that nobody seemed to care about:

I am doing a research project which focuses specifically on his:

culture/religion
accomplishments (major or minor)
influences
ideas
physical/emotional hurdles
and his effect on others

The goal of the research project is to go beyond biographical data, such as his birthplace or his favorite cat, but go in depth into his motives. Any help would be wonderful! Thank you!

I like playing guitar and writing songs. I'll never be a famous recording artist or performer, but it's still fun and hence is just a hobby.
