Is a esteban guitar brand really a piece of junk?

In 2009 when I was a young kid at 12 and my parents got a 300 dollar acoustic estaban guitar and at the time I thought wow its a quality guitar. Now I that I'm older I'm not taking guitar classes at school for my first time with alot others and I'm afraid I'm going to suck because of it. I mean for 300 dollars plus taxes and shipping my parents could of got a good Yamaha but I think they got hypnotized with this new estaban on those commercial things. I'm worried should I save up and probably buy another guitar or is it really that bad? I'm a super beginner I just tried out for 3 days and haven't touched the acoustic in years. It needs tuning but I don't know about strings. I have rarley used it since then. Help!? Don't over exaggerate on how bad it is such as its the worst guitar just be honest.

Question: Does anyone know where I can find public domain shakespeare performances. Not the scripts, but actually performances that were filmed.?

Question: Should I learn how to play the guitar first of violin ..?

I play the guitar and the cello. In my opinion, it would be easier to begin with the violin.

Violins are fairly easy to play. You'll have to learn treble clef if you don't know it. It's a fairly simple instrument. Fingerings are easy and there are noticeable patterns to them. To make the sound, all you have to do is run a bow across the strings. However, once you get into the swing of things a little bit, you'll start doing a lot of shifting into different positions. This is when you move your hands farther up or down on the fingerboard.

Guitar depends on whether you plan to play chords or tabs. When playing guitar chords, you have to have a good memory to memorize all of the fingerings. Some people find it easy to switch between chord fingerings very quickly - I am one of them. Most find it hard to switch from a G to a D to a C, etc.

Tabs, like the violin, have a pattern. I find that tabs come easily. Whether you're playing chords or tabs, you'll have to build callouses on your thumb or use a pick.

Overall, it's your decision. Guitar helps violin and violin helps guitar! I find that it would be easier to start violin and then guitar, but really, do what you'd like! Have fun. :)

Question: What is choir class?! I'm freaking out 'cause I've never heard of it where i am from and that's now one of my classes.?

A choir group is where you group up with a whole bunch of other people and you sing songs arranged for large group. Usually, you're divided into different group based on your vocal range. If you've ever heard of chorus class, this is the same thing.

Question: Which acoustic guitar sounds better to you?

The FS720S by far. It's an auditorium shape and has a nicely balanced tonal range, while the other one is a dreadnought with its characteristic bass-heavy tone.
