One bar is one measure in music. A measure is a unit of beats. Sometimes a bar, or measure, has 4 beats. Sometimes a bar has 3 beats. Very generally and broadly speaking, much music can be counted 4 beats to a bar or a measure (except for the music that can't be counted 4 beats to a bar).

Does Allison Williams sing?

As most of us have heard, Allison Williams has been castes as the role of NBC's upcoming live performance of Peter Pan this December. Sweet! However question, being can she sing? I was never fully sure if she was just an actress or also is a singer...?

I have a supporting lead role in my high school's musical this fall (Anything Goes) and I've only ever had experience in the ensemble. I just get terrible anxiety before and during a show, no matter what I am doing and now I have more responsibilities and more scenes, lines, etc. I easily get so anxious that my performance is weakened. I feel really hot onstage with the lights and my heart is beating so fast I don't know how to calm down.

By the time the real show is happening, we are all completely exhausted from lack of sleep and usually not eating very well (fast, unhealthy meals or snacks usually). There's not a lot of time to rest.

Are there any seasoned performers out there that know what I'm talking about and have any tips for show week?

I've been playing flute for eight years, and I'm very proficient in my playing (third chair in my high school band) and I would love to join DCI (drum corps) and I would love to either play trumpet or mellophone. I have access to a trumpet, and my parents are a bit on the fence about it. So my question is, how hard would it be to learn and become proficient in the trumpet? I'm not going to entirely drop my flute, i would prefer to play the two at the same time. Also, what mouthpiece would be best for a beginner trumpet player (I've heard anywhere from a 3c to a 10.5c)

If possible I will switch to another instrument, but it would have to be brass to get into DCI.

What should I buy ? Brand new Yamaha FG700S or used Yamaha FG200 or FG151 or any other japan made old FG series guitars?

Japan made old ones re much more cheaper than a brand new FG700s . I like both of those old FG and FG700S . I cant decide what I should buy . my friends keep telling to buy the japan made old fg as fg700s is made in china . help me please.
