| Question: In which century was the steam engine invented precisely? Posted: 17 Aug 2014 07:22 AM PDT Attempts to harness steam power had been attempted since the 1st century AD but the most useful engine was the one developed by Thomas Newcomen in 1712 , called the atmospheric engine. It was further developed and different versions of it were in use in the early stages of the Industrial Revolution.. |
| Question: Which countries have tried world domination? Posted: 17 Aug 2014 06:23 AM PDT Britain, for world domination it is not necessary to actually occupy a country, sometimes all that is required is for a few gunboats to turn up at a major port for that nation to change its policy. |
