Arts & Humanities: Other: “Question: Is it normal to want people to see your art?” plus 4 more

Question: Is it normal to want people to see your art?

Yes, very normal, if you like your art. But if you don't like your own art, then you've got a problem.
Except, if it's a painting, you can paint over it- but only once or twice.

Question: Stradivarius copy- Vintage violin questions?

Posted: 31 Aug 2014 11:43 AM PDT

There are hundreds of thousands of Strad copies.
Some are cheap, tatty fiddles, worth nothing at all - others are worth a few hundred pounds.
I have six such violins - none would be worth getting restored. It would cost maybe £350 for each to be adequately restored, after which they would be worth about £250 each.

Get a really expert valuation and opinion before spending a penny on it.
Even if it turns out to be worthless in monetary terms, it's still a wonderful piece of family history.

Question: Good Name for Art Website?

Posted: 31 Aug 2014 01:36 AM PDT

Hey Guys! I'm making a website designed to sell my art on paper, t-shirts, etc.

My art is very versatile. I've done Pokemon in watercolor, worked with acrylics, pen, pencil, etc.
However, my art and purpose revolves around what's popular, as in Pop Culture.

I really want to make something fun, catchy/memorable and simple. Its not necessary, but I would like to include the word Pop.

These are just some ideas:

ThePopShop
ThePopScene
iHeartPop
TeamPopArtWorks

Just brainstorming. I'd like it to be generic but unique at the same time. Its a bit difficult lol.

Thanks!
