Posted: 18 Aug 2014 10:58 PM PDT You should be in whatever theater group or club your high school currently has. You should also learn how to spell and write as no college in the world is going to accept an illiterate. Here's a Googled link to the top 25 drama schools in the world.
Question: Beauty and the Beast Audition!? Posted: 18 Aug 2014 09:14 PM PDT Beauty and the Beast Audition!? My high school is doing a production of Beauty and the Beast and I've wanted the role of Babette since the announcement was made! I plan on singing a bit of I Enjoy Being A Girl from Flower Drum Song or Always True To You from Kiss Me Kate, but if there are other ideas, I'd be happy to hear them! The director also knows that I pick up dance moves quickly, so I'm not worried about that. The one bit I'm having trouble with is the monologue. I want something flirty, funny, and little sassy, but I'm a bit worried about coming off as a silly girl! Any help?
Question: Where can i download movie - Les miserables (2012)? Posted: 18 Aug 2014 07:13 PM PDT Download Utorrent, then search Les Miserbles 2012 free hd torrent, download it and throw it into the Utorrent app wait for like 6 hours (depends on how fast you internet connection is) and voila. You can even search for subtitles and throw them into the movie when it's downloaded.
Posted: 18 Aug 2014 06:48 PM PDT Most paid acting work comes through agents. Agents expect and get a very high level of skill and experience in underage actors. You must become "marketable" which means that learning to sing, dance, act and read music are all important to improve your audition potential. Good agents do not take enthusiastic beginners - they do not get paid unless you can secure work at audition. Youth theatre, drama at school, youth choir, dance lessons etc are all ways of developing skills in the performing arts. You need to learn about the industry and the legal requirements for underage actors. You have not yet established whether you have any real acting ability and potential. You need the opinion of industry experts for that. You need to improve your written English. It is important for actors to be able to read and absorb written information quickly. If you re read your question, you will see that it is hard to understand because the grammar is not correct. Think of paid acting work as a long term goal. Ideally you will have some good head shots, a good resume, a show reel and/or voice reel etc. Spend time enjoying working out if the hard work and commitment required is for you. Best of luck. Daughter studies full time at well known acting school (performing arts high school, vocal lessons, youth choir etc before that).

Update : Does anyone know any Theatre/Television Acting classes in Atlanta that are actually reputable? I know there's the Alliance Theatre but I wanted to know if there were any other great ones. |
