I'm an atheist. But I do believe Jesus was real. I believe he was only figuratively the son of God, not literally.

But anyway- I feel a incredibly strong connection to The Lion King-like someone does with religion. And that the characters represent religious figures in the Bible (Mufasa=God, Simba=Jesus, Scar=Satan, etc) But that doesn't mean I believe that God and Satan are real. You can be a HP fan even though the characters are fictional.

I've been in love with its philosophical plot and morals ever since I was a lotto kid.

It's not "just a Disney animal movie" to me.

It's SO MUCH MORE.

It's an allegorical trilogy
about what it truly means to be the monarch over all of the animals (the people).

The lion is the king of the beasts for its mane and killing animals 5x their size.

The monarch was the closest voice of God on Earth.

Lions were the ultimate symbol of monarchy and royalty.

So it teaches what it truly means to be a lion while also being an egalitarian (Circle of Life)
By that I mean that a good lion is the most suitable for the ruler, but if there weren't any good lions, then another animal could rule. It doesn't have to be JUST a lion.

It also teaches forgiveness and non-prejudice (TLK 2)

It's an outstanding allegorical, philosophical trilogy that is underrated for being a Disney movie, and I hate that.

It's my second favorite movie of all time (my ultimate favorite is Les Miserables)!

You'd need to think about how this drag was simulated, what the effects were, how much energy it used, and so forth. All that has to be considered when determining if it was useful. Even then, it would still place limits on your maneuverability which an enemy could exploit.
