When painting glass bottles, do you start with the colored background or do you start with the bottle itself?

I'm painting some glass bottles and I don't know where to start.
There aren't a lot of tutorials online.
Can any painter/artist please help me out?

What colors do I mix to match this paintings night sky?

I really enjoy the colors in this painting but I cant seem to mix them right. I only have primary acrylics to use. What do I need to mix together to achieve that dark navy to light turquoise color?
I only have
-medium yellow
-permanent red,
-permanent black,
-titanium white,
-and ultramarine blue

I need to find a picture any from art, advertisement, photographs.
I need to be able to answer the purpose of the image, the tone, who the audience is. I just need a good picture. I cannot think of one. Thanks!
