Question: Where should I start this story? Posted: 14 Aug 2014 05:07 AM PDT Blurb: Lindsay thought living in an orphanage was bad enough, but after she's forced into a boarding school, she wants nothing more then to go back. With her grades dropping and her life falling to pieces, all she wants to do is sleep and never wake up. Throw a cute bad boy and a bipolar best friend in the mix, and the slightest thing will tip her over the edge. Let's just hope you're not the one that tips her. **Also, what do you think of the blurb? If you can, please re-write it so I can improve it with an example to go from**

Question: Moment of silence for Robin Williams? Posted: 14 Aug 2014 03:23 AM PDT I'm not going to judge, because no one can ever know what goes through the mind of another. That said, however, I think it's altogether fair to point out that Robin Williams was wealthy, and possessed all of the resources to get the help he needed. It's not like he was a homeless vet with nowhere to turn. Sympathy only goes SO far.
Question: Why is He call word in beginning, study the book John? Posted: 14 Aug 2014 03:20 AM PDT It's complicated. The Greek word "logos," which is usually translated as "word," has various other meanings as well, in Greek philosophy and otherwise, which the author and the original readers of the "Gospel of John" would have been familiar with. You need to go to the library and get a serious scholarly commentary on John, which will explain this in detail.
Question: Poll: Would you read a book with a gay/bi main character? Posted: 14 Aug 2014 03:18 AM PDT Yes, as long as it's not the main focus of the plot and the character isn't defined by their sexuality, as I don't tend to read romances. I have an idea for a thriller novel that I've been planning out, where the main character happens to be a lesbian. Her sexuality is relevant to the plot, but it's not the main focus. Female (and bisexual).
