Should I quit colorguard? Long sorry;p?

Ok so I am originally form South Africa and have been living in America for some time now, my parents said to do something American...so I joined colorguard. I never knew it existed let alone been to a "football" game up until freshman year. The instructor came to talked to is and squad it was going to be really fun, and it was until I realized the work of band camp, the long practice hours, and it's expensive! I joined because it looked fun and I have 2 of my only friends in marching band. Have gotten to know some people and the instructors very well, but I'm. Not enjoying it! We are about to learn rifle and I don't want to!:( I feel like if I quit my friends and I will grow apart because if your schedules, and that the while band and colorguard girls( which I see in a regular basis) will hate me! It's really expensive and it works me half to death. I come home everyday at 7:00 exhausted and depressed. I am getting in to the theatre company at school so I am not completely giving up, I'm just switching:( but I'm scared that I will regret quitting and lose the people that I have grown close to:( I have made so many and I've gotten to know the seniors and things so it's helpful, but I feel like I'm not doing this for me. I'd like some advice, anything will do! Thanks so much!:)

Which pop songs should I sing for my audition?

I am a mezzo-soprano auditioning for an a capella choir. The choir mainly sings pop songs, so I would like to sing something in that genre. The audition is a 60 second mixture of any two songs (the verse of one and the chorus of another.) I was thinking of doing part of a Katy Perry song and possibly part of a Demi Lovato song, but I'm not sure. I'd like whichever songs I sing to be fairly emotional and expressive. Thank you! :)
