| Question: Why was Hitler consider the Germanic people the master race? Posted: 12 Sep 2014 07:51 AM PDT When comparing the past history of a group of people to their present or semi-modern peoples, remember that a considerable amount of time has gone by. I mean, we're talking well over a thousand years here. A lot can happen to a group of people in 100 years, not to mention 1000+. You also must consider that amount of chemicals being pumped into Hitler's body. He thought his doctor was treating him efficiently, but he was actually doing more harm to Hitler than Hitler was doing to his reputation. This is a significant reason why Hitler said, acted, and did the things he did. On to your question: Hitler didn't consider only the Germans to be part of the "Aryan" race or "master race." Aryan could be people from all over Europe, provided they were white and identified with his belief system (like many youths did at the time). Aryan folk come from many countries that the Romans invaded, like Ireland, England, Germany, etc. Of course, he preferred blond hair, blue eyes, fair skin to others, setting a status ranking system by which people could judge one another. All civilizations at one point in time descended from "barbaric tribes who continuously waged war" on one group of people or another. I mean, you can't easily judge a group of people today by what people who inhabited the same land did hundreds of years ago. As a person of Irish descent, I don't hate English people for the potato famine and not helping Ireland. I think you will find it's much more fun to analyze history than to gawk at it :P I hope this answered your question. Historian, social scientist, teacher. |

| Question: Why is America lean further right than Europe? Posted: 12 Sep 2014 07:14 AM PDT Somebody once told me it was because they were Christian, but I don't think a true Christian can be right wing. |
| Question: Who blamed it on Satan again?
